  • Other clients that are local to us, simply book an appointment to come into the store.  Appointments are not necessary, but they allow us to set aside time for you and to prepare.  Appointments are advisable on weekends when we are often quite busy. 

Let's Choose

We have some really great styles that can be customized to your liking--you can choose from:

  • Three different colours of gold.  We also offer platinum.
  • At least four different origins for your diamonds
  • And other customization options like tapering the band, having two-tone metal and different metal finishes
Or you can get something completely custom--a fun process that works for remote clients and includes working with one of our designers to create a beautiful piece, made just for you.  And, even better, we give you digital renders and even 3D prints for you to try on so that you know exactly what you're getting before it's made.  This works especially well for international clients.

We have an awesome selection of unique gems and diamonds--which is great because you can take of one our made to measure styles and completely personalize it to you.  Most of our gem stock is not shown on the web site, but your designer can find other options in our in store stock or from our suppliers and cutters.  Bringing things in for you can take as little as a couple of days or, for more unusual items, up to two weeks.

 

Let's Think About It

For all of the things you like and are considering, we'll provide you with an online estimate with all the details.  We can hold gems/diamonds you like for 24-48 hours without a deposit; this gives you some time to think things over.  If you make a deposit on the project, we can hold gems for longer.

You can login to your estimate at any time and have revisions made by emailing the staff member listed on your estimate or by sending a note to sales@ftjco.com

 

Let's Get Started

Now that you've chosen your ring style and any gems or diamonds you like, we're ready to to start the making process.

Unless you have arranged a financing plan with us, a 50% deposit is taken to secure stone(s) and get the process started (If the diamond or gemstone is over a certain amount we might need you to pay the full amount of the stone)
-Design Process (could be as simple as selecting one of our styles or you might want to do full custom including a 3D print and coloured renders for approval)
-Design Approval from you (client)
-Production Time: between 4-8 weeks (you can track progress here when ring is in production phase: Status App
-Appraisal (we take the ring for a 3rd party appraisal, included in the cost of the ring) 
-We contact you via email to pick up the piece, or we can ship it to you. 
-You apply for insurance with Jewelers Mutual (we offer a promotion to reimburse you for year 1.)
