All of our CanadaMark diamonds above 0.30 carats are GIA certified with a minimum quality of SI-HI which means they have no eye visible inclusions and appear white in colour.  We use these two grades as a baseline because the unaided eye cannot necessarily see the difference in higher clarity and colour grades.  We pay more attention to the cut and so our CanadaMark diamonds carry a very good to excellent cut grade.  Excellent is the highest cut grade awarded by GIA; they do not use the term 'ideal.'  When grading our diamonds we look for the 'hearts and arrow' pattern which is indicative of a perfectly cut diamond.

The CanadaMark hallmark program provides independent verification that a diamond is of Canadian origin.

Every CanadaMark diamond is:

  • Responsibly mined in Canada’s Northwest Territories;
  • Natural and untreated;
  • Tracked through audited processes at every stage from country of origin to polished stone; and
  • Polished to meet specific quality standards.

CanadaMark diamonds are available for sizes starting at 0.30 carats; we also offer CanadaMark diamonds smaller than 0.30 but these are not individually tracked and serialised.
