A note about this band: It is perhaps a subtly influenced bombé style design, though we wouldn't quality it as budging from the finger(a bombé design trait). This piece is hollow behind the settings and the hollowing extends below the setting on the under side of the band likely to reduce the weight of the piece. It looks like it's been cast as a production piece (not one of a kind). It's hard to say exactly when this ring was made, but if it was made from a mass produced casting mold it was likely after the mid 1930s when this process was invented (in Canada by the way). There is a Canadian registered trademark for 'PDN' that makes "Jewelry, namely, rings, earrings and pendants." They registered in 1992, so it's possbile this ring dates from 1992+.
