The soft pink hues of zircon and rose gold come together with vivid minty green emeralds in these opulent drop earrings, created for one of FTJCo's 2023 AGTA Spectrum Awards entries.
Often, it's the materials themselves that dictate the design. Three different pairs of unique gems just seemed to be waiting for the opportunity! Brazilian quartz pieces with delicate golden rutile needles were cut into a matching pair of drop shapes which anchor the design. The contrasting arrangement of pear cut pink Australian zircons and bright modified round brilliant emerald cuts is surrounded by Canadian diamond halos. It's all set in 18K rose gold, consisting of 50% recycled gold and 50% Fairmined Colombian gold. All designed and made at our Toronto studio, it's truly an international effort!
The earrings measure approximately 9.5 cm (3 3/4") long, and feature secured hooks.
