This ring was designed as a competition piece for the American Gem Trade Association awards. It boasts a two-level halo design, appearing as a single level from above. It's crafted in two pieces to accommodate the two-level stone setting. At its heart is a striking concave-cut green tourmaline.

Concave cuts create a unique facet arrangement, curving rather than flat like traditional cuts. This enhances the gem's brilliance by optimizing light play. Though more labor-intensive, this cutting method produces gems with exceptional luminosity and allure, favored by many jewelry aficionados.
