Sales & Marketing Assistant @ FTJCO
We are growing, and we need to add to our team! We are looking for an individual that will complement our store's unique environment in the role of Sales and Marketing Assistant. This is a full-time permanent position.
A little bit about our company:
We are located in the Cabbagetown area of downtown Toronto, and we have been open since 2008. We specialize in custom engagement ring and wedding band design and production. We make all kinds of custom fine jewellery, and take in repairs. We carry a small amount of ready made items for sale. Everything is made in our studio located in the back of the store.
Our clients seek us out for our social and environmental material options: gemstones, diamonds, and metal. We carry Akara certified sapphires, Canadian certified diamonds, vintage diamonds, recycled diamonds, certified recycled 18K gold, and Fairtrade gold. Some clients come to us just because they love our design work as seen on social media.
We are looking for a creative and thoughtful person to take on the role of Sales and Marketing Assistant. Creativity is not limited to art. When we say creative we mean in an entrepreneurial way. We are a small business, so our employees wear a lot of hats. We need someone that is able to work independently and problem solve daily challenges.
This position requires invoice tracking, client project status control, shipping both locally and internationally daily, document organization, inventory, greeting and speaking with clients (both walk-ins and appointments), and updating social media with regularity and creativity.
-Prefer 4 year degree or college diploma
-Marketing and/or social media experience
-Creative thinking and problem solving
-Organized with good attention to detail
-Good interpersonal skills
-High degree of computer literacy
-Weekend availability is required
