We believe this ring was cast with a design that has been hollowed out behind the shoulders to keep it a bit lighter (unfortunately this makes it less stable to resize). It's hard to say exactly when this ring was made, but if it was made from a mass produced casting mold it was likely after the mid 1930s when this process was invented (invented in Canada by the way ;). The trademark appears to be that of 'Finecraft Fine Jewellery' (a Canadian company) which was acquired by Richline Group.
